About Me

WELCOME TO NANCY'S INFANT AND TODDLER CENTER

Dear Parents,

My name is Nancy, and I am the founder and owner of Nancy’s Infant & Toddler Center. Caring for children has been my lifelong passion, and I bring over 20 years of experience in early childhood education to this field. I hold an Early Childhood Certificate and an Infant and Toddler Diploma from Vancouver Career College, graduated with Honours. I have worked in several childcare centers across the North Shore and ran my own licensed center from 2008 to 2015.

Philosophy

My goal has always been to create a safe, loving, and educational environment where every child can grow with confidence, creativity, and joy. I believe in providing personalized care tailored to each child’s unique needs, with programs designed to encourage social, emotional, and physical development. Parents describe me as reliable, nurturing, and deeply committed to children’s well-being qualities that have built strong, lasting relationships with families in our community.

I look forward to welcoming your little one into a warm, home-based setting where they can learn, explore, and thrive every day.

My philosophy is based on play. My rule as the teacher is to provide enriching activities so that children are supported as they are learning to recognize and share their feeling. I strive to provide an environment where children and families from different cultural backgrounds feel welcome and accepted. My goal in my center is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore. I am responsible for providing infant and toddlers with positive learning experience based on play.

Our Mission

🌟 1. Nurturing Each Child’s Potential

We believe every child is unique and full of potential. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and inclusive environment where infants and toddlers are encouraged to explore, grow, and develop at their own pace through meaningful, play-based experiences.

🍎 2. Building Healthy Habits for Life

We promote the development of healthy eating habits and positive mealtime attitudes by following Canada’s Food Guide and creating a calm, enjoyable setting for meals and snacks. Our menu is peanut-free and responsive to each child’s dietary needs.

🤝 3. Partnering with Families Every Step of the Way

We value strong, trusting relationships with families. Through open communication, an open-door policy, and a family-centered approach, we work closely with parents to ensure their child feels safe, supported, and celebrated every day.
